Four Bentley Falcons Named Division II Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars

Four Bentley University Falcons, including Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) and CoSIDA Academic All-America Ellis Yoder (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead HS), have been named Division II Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

The Council of Presidents of the Northeast-10 Conference voted unanimously on Thursday, July 16, to suspend all NE10-sponsored competition and championships through December 31 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bentley University outfielder Max Troiani (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Mendon HS) is the Northeast-10 Conference’s Sport Excellence Award winner for baseball, and Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS), a rising senior at Bentley, received the same prestigious honor for men’s golf. The announcement was made by the conference office Wednesday.

Bentley Student-Athletes Once Again Have Highest Graduation Rate in Division II

For the third straight year, Bentley University is ranked number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report, which was announced this week. Bentley, which shared the top spot in 2017, was the only institution to record an ASR of 99 for the second straight year. This marks the sixth straight year that Bentley has achieved an ASR of 97 or better and the ninth straight it was been above 90.
