Oliver Tied for 1st at Midpoint of Division II Challenge; Bentley Stands in 4th

QUEECHEE, Vt. – Bentley University senior Malcolm Oliver (Damariscotta, Maine/Lincoln Academy) is atop the leaderboard at the midpoint of the Southern New Hampshire-hosted Division II Challenge, being played at the Quechee Club Highlands Course. The two-day tournament will conclude on Saturday.                

Oliver turned in a two-over-par 74 and will begin the second round even with Le Moyne College's John Clare. Both are one up on Le Moyne's Aidan Fuller.

Bentley posted a score of 318 as a team on Friday, putting the Falcons fourth in an 11-team field. Le Moyne and Southern New Hampshire finished the opening round tied for first with each eight strokes in front of the Falcons.

The Falcons' number two man was sophomore Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS), who is tied for 11th after turning in a 78. Also for Bentley, junior John Perkins (Middleton/Phillips Andover) is tied for 20th following an 80.
