Bio

Jack Cole, a 2015 graduate of Stonehill College, came to Bentley as the part-time assistant coach in 2019 and then transitioned to the full-time position in 2020. The 2023-24 season is his fifth year on the staff.

Cole was already familiar with the Northeast-10 Conference when he joined Bentley. At Stonehill, he was a four-year starter and two-year captain on the basketball team where he achieved career numbers of 1057 points, 860 rebounds and 162 blocks. As a freshman, his team reached the NCAA Division II national semifinals, and as a senior, he was voted honorable mention all-conference. Cole also spent the 2018-19 season as an assistant coach at Assumption College.

A native of New Providence, N.J., Cole earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and his MBA from Bentley.

"Jack had a big impact on our program in his first year and it was quite evident he was our answer when the full-time position opened up," said head coach Jay Lawson. "A Division II full-time assistant carries a large load of responsibility and Jack has proven to be invaluable in this role. He’s been directly involved with every aspect of the program which will give him a chance to grow a lot in a short period of time. His instincts with relationships, the game and teaching should translate into further growth and a bright future in coaching. We’re very fortunate to have him on our staff."
