Hudson Selected D2CCA 2nd-Team All East Region
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University forward Chris Hudson (Hodgdon, Maine/Williston Northampton School) has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-East Region second team following an outstanding senior year.
Hudson, who was previously named first-team All-Northeast-10 Conference and the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year, led the 17-12 Falcons in numerous categories, including scoring (19.0), rebounding (7.4), field goals made and attempted (210-371), field goal percentage (.566), free throws made and attempted (117-156), blocks (43) and minutes played (36.3).
Hudson led the conference in blocks and ranked in the top six in most of the above categories, as well as steals (43). He was the only NE10 player to have at least 40 steals and 40 blocks.
His season included five double-doubles and 14 20-point games, with a high of 30 Feb. 1 against Adelphi.
Hudson finished his career with 1,428 points, 685 rebounds, 84 blocks and a .538 field goal percentage. He's tied for fifth in program history in career blocks as well as 11th in field goal percentage, 15th in minutes and 20th in rebounds.
