Richmond Named to D2CCA All-East First Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior guard and Google Cloud Academic All-America Ryan Richmond (Toronto, Ont./Thomson Collegiate) has been selected to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association Division II All-East Region first team by the region's sports information directors.

It's the latest honor for the third all-time leading scorer in Bentley men's basketball history. He was previously selected first-team All-Northeast-10 for the second straight year and was chosen for the Google Cloud Division II Academic All-America second team. In 2018, Richmond was a second-team D2CCA All-Region pick and a first-team NABC All-East selection.

Richmond, Bentley's leading scorer for the third straight year and the first player in program history with three 600-point seasons, topped the NE10 with a 23.0 point-per-game average. He also averaged 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steals while playing a school record 37.5 minutes a game.

Richmond finished his career with 2,081 points, 37 shy of the Bentley record, and also ranks in the top five in Falcon history in scoring average, free throws made and attempted, field goals made and attempted, and minutes per game.

Bentley finished the season with a 19-10 record.

The all-region first team also included Bloomfield's Kavione Green, Saint Anselm's Tim Guers, Merrimack's Juvaris Hayes and Daemen's Andrew Sischo.
