Bentley closed out the regular season with three straight wins to secure a berth in the Northeast-10 Conference championship tournament for the 36th time in the conference's 38-year history.

  • The Falcons earned a 68-65 quarterfinal win at Saint Rose to reach the NE10 semifinals for the 18th time.
  • Bentley has an all-time winning percentage of .633 in regular season NE10 games, a success rate no other men's basketball program in the conference can match.
  • The Falcons achieved the program's 22nd winning season in the last 23 years.
  • The Falcons have made at least one three-pointer in an NCAA Division II-record 847 consecutive games, a streak that dates back to December 1989.
  • Bentley ranked in the top four in the NE10 in scoring (79.8), scoring margin (+5.5), field goal percentage (.475), three-point percentage (.391), free throw percentage (.764), rebounds (38.5), rebound margin (+5.4) and fewest fouls committed (14.4).
  • Bentley was 13-3 when shooting better overall than its opponents, 14-3 when shooting better from three and 9-1 when finishing with a field goal percentage of .500 or better.
  • Bentley overcame a halftime deficit to win six times.
  • The Falcons were 11-1 when attempting more free throws than their opponents.
  • Bentley's .475 field goal percentage was its best since the 2007-08 season and the third best in Jay Lawson's 27 years at the helm.
  • Bentley played 10 games against teams that were selected for the NCAA Division II East Regional and defeated three of the four regional semifinalists (Le Moyne, Saint Rose, Merrimack).

11    Ryan Richmond (Jr, G, 6-0, Toronto, Ont. (Thompson Collegiate/Williston Northampton School)

  • The Falcons' top scorer for the second straight year with his 23.6 point-per-game average a Bentley single season record.
  • Owns two of the four highest single season scoring averages in program history with his 23.6 this season following his 22.6 of last year.
  • Also averaged 4.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 0.7 steals while shooting 48 percent overall, 38 percent from three and 81 percent from the line.
  • Was the third-leading scorer in the Northeast-10 and also ranked ninth in Division II, fifth among Division II juniors and third in the NCAA Division II East Region.
  • Was also 11th in Division II in field goal attempts (497), 16th in points (662) and 16th in field goals made (240).
  • Joined Jason Westrol and Bill Holden as the only players in program history with multiple 600-point seasons.
  • Honors included first-team NABC Division II All-East Region, second-team D2CCA All-East Region, first-team All-Northeast-10, first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 and first-team Academic All-Northeast-10.
  • Was named to All-Championship Team following Northeast-10 Championships.
  • Averaged 26.1 ppg in 16 games after Jan. 1.
  • At Le Moyne on Jan. 3, became the 53rd 1,000-point scorer in program history and hit a buzzer-beating 3 with six-tenths of a second left in overtime, giving the Falcons a 73-70 win over the Dolphins.
  • His list of four 30-point games included 39 at Franklin Pierce Feb. 20 and 35 eight days later in the NE10 semis at Saint Anselm.
  • Scored at least 20 in 21 of 27 games
  • Led the NE10 in field goals (240) and was second in total points (662).
  • Named the NE10 Player of the Week Dec. 4 and also made 12 appearances on the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll.
  • Career averages of 17.9 points (fifth in Bentley history), 4.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
  • In 79 career games, has 1,414 points, 331 rebounds, 201 assists, 490 field goals and 126 three-pointers.
  • Will enter his senior year as the number 20 scorer in Bentley history.
  • The only players in program history with more points before their final season are Bill Holden (1,523) and Tyler McFarland (1,440).

25    Brandon Wheeler (Sr, F, 6-4, 205, Stamford, Conn., Trinity Catholic HS)

  • Recipient of Sean "Busbee" Williams Appreciation Award.
  • Started every game for the second straight season and averaged 30.8 minutes, 7.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals.
  • Bentley's leading rebounder for the second straight season.
  • Seventh in the Northeast-10 in steals per game and eighth in average rebounds.
  • Scored in doubles nine times and collected at least ten rebounds seven times, with a high of 16 in an overtime win at Le Moyne Jan. 3.
  • Scored season-high 16 points without missing a shot Feb. 17 vs. Merrimack (5-5 FG, 1-1 3's, 5-5 FT).
  • Also had 11 rebounds against the Warriors for his third double-double of the season.
  • His other double-doubles came against Franklin Pierce Nov. 29 (11 points, 12 rebounds) and at Merrimack Dec. 12 (12 points, 12 rebounds).
  • Bentley was 11-3 when he had multiple steals.
  • Finished career with 751 points, 643 rebounds, 135 assists and 105 steals in 98 games.
  • Career averages of 7.7 points and 6.6 rebounds with his rebounding average good for 20th on Bentley's all-time list.
  • Started final 79 games of his career.

14    Chris Hudson (So, F, 6-5, 200, Hodgdon, Maine, Williston Northampton School)

  • Recipient of Francis A. Bennett Most Improved Player Award.
  • Was second on the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13.3 points and 6.1 boards while playing 28 minutes a game.
  • .566 field goal percentage was third best in the Northeast-10 and 41st best in Division II, including number two among sophomores.
  • Was also fifth in the NE10 in free throw percentage (.838) and sixth in offensive rebounds per game (2.5).
  • Made 22 of 42 3-pointers (.524), including 10 of 15 to finish the season.
  • Started the Falcons' first five games and the final 17.
  • As a starter, averaged 14.8 points and 6.7 rebounds with Bentley posting a 13-9 record.
  • At home, shot .619 overall and made 12/17 3's while averaging 14.2 points
  • Scoring average climbed from 10.3 before Jan. 1 to 14.3 in January to 16.8 in February.
  • Closed out the season by scoring in doubles in 13 straight games, a stretch in which he averaged 16.5 points while shooting .564 overall, .538 from three and .894 at the line.
  • Bentley was 4-1 when he scored 20 points or more.
  • Career-best 25 points on 10/12 shooting Nov. 12 vs. Concordia (N.Y.).
  • Double-doubles against Southern Connecticut Jan. 20 (15 points, 11 rebounds) and a month later against Franklin Pierce (16 points, 14 rebounds).
  • Named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll five times.
  • In 51 career games, has amassed 459 points and 233 rebounds
  • Owns career averages of 9.0 points and 4.6 rebounds, as well as a career field goal percentage of .534.

33    Zach Gilpin (Jr, F, 6-5, 208, Hampden, Maine, Hampden Academy)

  • Averaged 11.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 30.6 minutes while starting all 28 games.
  • Shot 42 percent from beyond the arc, making 46 of 109, and also shot 83 percent at the foul stripe.
  • Was sixth in the Northeast-10 in free throw percentage and 14th in three-point accuracy.
  • In home games, averaged 14 points while shooting .504 overall, .463 from deep and .816 free throws.
  • Most productive month was December when he scored 14.7 points per game.
  • Bentley was 11-4 during the 15 games in which he scored in double figures.
  • Season-high 23 points Nov. 15 against Stonehill and again Dec. 29 against Dominican (N.Y.).
  • Only double-double game at Pace Jan. 27 when he finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Made 26 consecutive free throws from Dec. 2-Jan. 13.
  • Was named to the Dec. 11 Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll.
  • Will enter senior year with 619 points, 237 rebounds and 86 three-pointers in 65 career games (38 starts).
  • Career averages include 9.5 points and 3.6 rebounds.

23    Jordan Mello-Klein (Fr, G, 6-1, 175, Sharon, Mass., Thayer Academy)

  • Was voted to Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team after starting 24 games and averaging 7.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
  • Shot .485 overall and made half of his 46 attempts from beyond the three-point line.
  • Was 12th in NE10 in defensive rebounds (4.9) and 14th in assist-turnover ratio (2.0).
  • Scored in doubles eight times, including four of his first six career games.
  • In six November games, averaged 10.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists while posting as 12-1 assist-turnover ratio
  • Posted a 17-point, 10-rebound, no-turnover double-double against Stonehill Nov. 15.
  • During his first four games, made 21 of 32 field goal attempts and did not commit a turnover in 110 minutes of action.
  • Two-time Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week (Nov. 13, Nov. 20).

12    Seth Stankiewicz (So, G, 6-0, 170, Reading, Pa., The Hill School)

  • Led Bentley in playing time off the bench while averaging 19.6 minutes, 7.2 points, 1.6 assists and 1.5 rebounds.
  • Shot .437 from three-point land (9th best in the Northeast-10) and buried 18 of 20 free throws.
  • Started four games during the second half of January, averaging 7.8 points and 2.8 rebounds.
  • Season-high 21 points in 23 minutes at Jefferson Dec. 18, a game in which he sank six of nine three-balls.
  • Bentley was 9-4 when he made multiple three-pointers and 7-3 when he scored in doubles.
  • Among players with at least 50 career 3-pointers, .432 accuracy from downtown is third best in program history.
  • Has averaged 5.6 points in 46 career games with totals of 259 points and 57 three-pointers.

24    Colton Lawrence (Fr, G, 6-3, 200, Myerstown, Pa., ELCO HS, Hill School)

  • In 23 games, averaged 11.3 minutes, 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds.
  • Started six straight games from Nov. 29-Dec. 29 and averaged 6.0 points during that stretch.
  • Began his collegiate career by with 15 points, on 5-of-7 shooting and 3-of-5 threes, and seven rebounds against Georgian Court on Nov. 11. Both were season-bests.
  • Followed that effort by scoring 13 points the next night against Concordia (N.Y.).

30    Matt Turkington (Sr, F, 6-5, 210, Cromwell, Conn., Cromwell HS)

  • Appeared in 27 games off the bench, averaging 10.6 minutes, 2.6 points and 2.0 rebounds.
  • Shot 56 percent inside the arc and made 13 of 37 (.351) from deep.
  • Season-high eight points against Saint Rose Jan. 6.
  • Finished the season by sinking seven of 14 three-pointers in his last nine games.
  • In 51 career games, all as a reserve, averaged 2.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 9.8 minutes.
  • Career totals included 124 points and 80 rebounds.

34    Peter Blust (Fr, F, 6-6, 205, Hinsdale, Ill., Hinsdale Central HS, New Hampton Prep)

  • Averaged 6.7 minutes, 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds while appearing in 16 games in his rookie year.
  • Began his career with a season-best eight points, on 4-of-5 shooting, Nov. 12 against Georgian Court.
  • Came back with six points in 12 minutes a day later against Concordia (N.Y.).

15    Nick Burton (Sr, F, 6-4, 200, Falmouth, Maine, Falmouth HS)

  • Got the call off the bench seven times and averaged 2.0 points and 2.6 rebounds.
  • Made 5 of 7 shots, including a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point territory.
  • Scored six points in four minutes Nov. 29 against Franklin Pierce
  • Saw action in 15 games during his four years in a Falcon uniform and scored 19 points on 58 percent shooting.

10    Dan Reagan (Fr, G, 6-1, 160, Avon, Conn., Avon HS, Gunnery School)

  • Appeared in four games as a freshman walk-on
  • Only points of the season came via a three-pointer against Georgian Court Nov. 11.
