Bio

Elizabeth Alie, a 2017 graduate of Saint Anselm College, is in her second year as an assistant field hockey coach at Bentley University.

Alie played four seasons for the Hawks while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Her list of honors was lengthy and included team captain, 2016-17 Saint Anselm Female Athlete of the Year, 2016 first-team National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-America, 2016 Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year and two-time first-team All-Northeast-10. As a senior, she helped Saint Anselm reach the NCAA Division II national semifinals.

Her coaching experience includes Franklin High School Summer League head coach, Spiders Club U-19 assistant, working with the Saint Anselm Prospect Clinics and volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club.

In addition to her coaching duties, the Franklin, Mass. native is a registered nurse at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Her father, Bill, was a two-sport athlete (soccer, hockey) for Bentley from 1982-86.
