The shutout was the second straight for sophomore Katie Kelley (Walpole, Mass./Walpole HS), who made two of her three saves in the final 30 seconds.

James gave Kelley and the Falcons, ranked number eight in Division II preseason, the only goal they would need when she scored out of a scramble in front of the goal mouth at 7:59 of the first. The score was her first of 2013.

Less than six minutes later, Lirange made it a 2-0 game following a cross from the right from sophomore Leah Winer (Longmeadow, Mass./Longmeadow HS).

Lirange completed the game's scoring with 6:20 remaining, knocking the ball into the right corner while tumbling to the ground.

On a hot and steamy afternoon, Bentley controlled play throughout, outshooting the 1-1 Ravens 17-6 and attempting twice as many corners, 10-5.

Bentley, 2-1, will be back on its home turf Saturday for a 1 pm encounter with Southern Connecticut State.
