Brazicki & McGee Earn Academic All-Northeast-10 Honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – Two members of the Bentley University football team, junior running back Andrew Brazicki (Franklin Park, N.J./St. Thomas Aquinas HS) and senior linebacker Travis McGee (Lecanto, Fla./Lecanto HS), have been voted to the 2019 Academic All-Northeast-10 team.

This marks the 12th straight year that Bentley has had multiple honorees on the NE10 All-Academic football team.

Brazicki, a repeat selection, led Bentley in rushing for the second straight year, gaining 541 yards and four touchdowns on 96 carries. In addition to averaging 5.6 yards per attempt, he also caught six passes for 93 yards.

Brazicki, who has achieved a GPA of 3.71 as a corporate finance and accounting major, finished his third collegiate season with career totals that include 1,552 rushing yards, 373 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. His junior season included 172 yards and three TD against Franklin Pierce and 131 yards against West Chester.

Academic All-Northeast-10 is the second academic honor that McGee has received since the end of the season. He was previously the recipient of the NE10's Elite 24 Award for football as the member of the conference championship team with the highest grade point average. The economics-finance major has earned a 3.91 GPA through the fall semester with an appearance on the President's List seven straight semesters.

On the field, McGee started seven times this year and finished fifth on the team in tackles with 36. He had a season-high six stops twice, at Assumption and at home against Southern Connecticut State.

Bentley closed out the season with a 6-4 record, including 6-2 NE10, and a five-game winning streak.
