Hansbury Named D2CCA East Region Men’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year

WALTHAM, Mass. – Former Bentley University offensive lineman Jack Hansbury (Tyngsboro/ Chelmsford HS), who graduated Summa Cum Laude in May, has been named the Division II East Region Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.

It's the latest major award that Hansbury has received since playing his final collegiate football game last November.

Previously, Hansbury was honored as the Northeast-10 Conference Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, as the recipient of the Edward J. Powers Award as Bentley's premier senior scholar-athlete, and as a first-team Google Cloud Academic All-America®.

The list also included the Northeast-10 Sport Excellence award for football as the conference's top scholar-athlete in the sport and Academic All-Northeast-10 recognition for the third time.

Hansbury attained a sparkling 3.95 grade point average during his four years as Bentley while majoring in corporate finance and accounting. He made the President's List following every semester.

On the field, Hansbury appeared in all 42 games Bentley played during his Falcon career and started every contest the last three seasons.
