Hultin First Falcon to Finish at Corsair Classic

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Freshman Julia Hultin (Sudbury/Lincoln-Sudbury Reg. HS) was the first Bentley University women's cross country runner to reach the finish during the UMass-Dartmouth Corsair Classic on Saturday. She was 122nd in a field of 263 with a 5,000-meter time of 21:02.48.

Bentley's number two runner was junior Aleksandra Jalinskas (Unionville, Conn./Miss Porter's School), who was 200th overall in 23:10.83.

With most of its top seven not competing, Bentley was 30th among 37 teams with a score of 882. Holy Cross edged Mount Holyoke 83-92 for the team championship.

Suffolk's Emily Manfra posted a winning time of 17:51.72, finishing about six-and-a-half seconds in front of runner-up Kialeigh Marston of Assumption.

Bentley's next action is the Capital Cross Challenge next Saturday in Sacramento, Calif.
