Fehskens, Bilodeau Lead Bentley to 4th in Sheehan Memorial

LEOMINSTER, Mass. – Senior Paige Fehskens (Wareham, Mass./Wareham HS) and junior Samantha Bilodeau (New Ipswich, N.H./Mascenic Reg. HS) were the top performers for the Bentley University women's cross country team Saturday as they helped the Falcons finish fourth among 12 teams in the Sheehan Memorial at the Doyle Conservation Area.

Fehskens, Bentley's top finisher for the 13th consecutive meet (dating back to the start of 2017), was 11th with a 5,000-meter time of 19:53. Biloldeau followed in 13th, crossing four seconds after her teammate.

Bentley head coach Kevin Curtin also received a solid effort from freshman Audrey Christo (Belmont, Mass./Belmont HS), who finished 20th in 20:31 in her first collegiate race

Mount Holyoke captured team honors with a score of 34. Bentley, which posted a 107, was joined in the top four by the University of New England (76) and Bridgewater State (84).

Babson's Stephanie Rodriquez was the only runner to break 19 minutes with her 18:58 giving her a seven-second margin of victory over UNE's Emily Wasina.

Bentley will return to action Sept. 21 with the Corsair Classic at UMass-Dartmouth.
