NE10 Suspends Conference-Sponsored Competition For Fall Semester

The Council of Presidents of the Northeast-10 Conference voted unanimously on Thursday, July 16, to suspend all NE10-sponsored competition and championships through December 31 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bentley University men’s and women’s cross country teams wrapped up their 2019 season Saturday by competing in the NCAA Division II East Regional Championships at the Belmont Plateau. The Falcon men finished ninth among 26 teams and the women’s squad was 14th of 23.

Bentley Student-Athletes Once Again Have Highest Graduation Rate in Division II

For the third straight year, Bentley University is ranked number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report, which was announced this week. Bentley, which shared the top spot in 2017, was the only institution to record an ASR of 99 for the second straight year. This marks the sixth straight year that Bentley has achieved an ASR of 97 or better and the ninth straight it was been above 90.

Freshman Julia Hultin (Sudbury/Lincoln-Sudbury Reg. HS) was the first Bentley University women’s cross country runner to reach the finish during the UMass-Dartmouth Corsair Classic on Saturday. She was 122nd in a field of 263 with a 5,000-meter time of 21:02.48.
