WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore Paige Fehskens (Wareham/Wareham HS) has been chosen for the 2017 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference Women's Cross Country team after excelling both athletically and in the classroom.

Fehskens, who previously earned All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, was Bentley's number one runner in all six of the team's meets during the 2017 season.

Among her accomplishments were 15th in the Northeast-10 Championships and 26th in the NCAA Division II East Regional. She was a third-team All-Northeast-10 honoree for her performance in the conference meet and missed earning All-Region recognition by only one place.

During the indoor season, Fehskens finished 12th in the 3,000 meters at the Northeast-10 Championships.

After postponement of Saturday's Bridgewater State Invitational, Bentley will open its outdoor season on Mar. 31 at the Bryant Invitational.
