Milner Voted to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior outside hitter Dani Milner (Plano, Texas/The Greenhill School) was voted to the 2019 Division II Academic All-District 1 women's volleyball team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

After missing most of last season due to injury, Milner has come back strong this fall, helping the Falcons to records of 21-5 overall and a conference-best 10-1 Northeast-10.

Milner, who was a first-team All-Northeast-10 honoree in 2017, is averaging 2.67 kills, 0.84 digs and 0.44 blocks for the Falcons while hitting at a .267 success rate.

Her season has included double-digit kills 13 times, including six straight matches from October 11 to November 1. She had 15 kills and 13 digs Oct. 1 in a 3-2 win at Saint Anselm and also had 15 Oct. 26 at Le Moyne in another five-set victory.

Her career totals include 818 kills, 630 digs, 127 blocks and 945 points in 82 matches.

In the classroom, Milner has achieved a 3.36 grade point average as a marketing major.

Bentley, ranked third in the NCAA Division II East Region, finishes the regular season with home matches tonight against New Haven and Friday against Pace.
