Milner, Bruno Gain All-Northeast-10 Honors; Segaline Receives All-Rookie Recognition

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore right side hitter Dani Milner (Plano, Texas/ The Greenhill School) was voted to the 2017 Northeast-10 All-Conference women's volleyball first team while her classmate, middle blocker Rachel Bruno (San Diego, Calif./Frances Parker School), was selected for the All-Conference second team.

Also recognized by the conference was freshman outside hitter Kirsten Segaline (Scottsdale, Ariz./Desert Mountain HS). She was named to the All-Rookie team, an honor Bruno and Milner received a year ago.

Milner is one of only two NE10 players who has averaged at least three kills and three digs this season, the other being Northeast-10 Player of the Year Leanna Jadus of Southern Connecticut. She ranks fifth in the conference in kills at 3.41, and also averages 3.23 digs, 0.52 blocks and 0.29 aces while hitting .222.

Milner's season has included 15 double-doubles, including 20 kills and 22 digs at Le Moyne Nov. 3.

Bruno owns the Northeast-10's best hitting percentage at .357 overall and .402 in conference matches. She's fourth in blocks with 0.91 per set and she also averages 2.30 kills and 0.25 aces.

Segaline, a three-time NE10 Rookie of the Week earlier this fall, was a unanimous choice for the All-Rookie team. She's second on the team in kills, averaging 2.51, and she's also fourth in digs at 2.48.

Bentley, 19-10 after a quarterfinal loss in the NE10 Championships, is on the bubble for an NCAA Regional berth. In this week's regional rankings, Coach Joey Pacis' team was seventh.
