Bentley Tops NE10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for 17th Straight Semester

For the 17th straight semester, Bentley University had the most selections for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll with 376 Falcon student-athletes recognized for having a 3.0 or better during the spring 2017 semester.

Today, the Northeast-10 Conference, in conjunction with leading brand development firm SME, revealed an innovative new vision for its future with the launch of a comprehensive new brand platform and accompanying brand campaign. Additionally, the Conference unveiled a new identity system, focused on refreshing the existing logo and moniker.

Fifteen kills and a .394 hitting percentage by senior Lauren Van Buren (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa HS) in her final career match wasn’t enough as the seventh-seeded Bentley University Falcons fell to number two American International College, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships Tuesday night at Butova Gymnasium.

A year after having their season ended by American International College in the Northeast-10 Conference quarterfinals and less than a week after the team clubs played a grueling five-setter that took 2:25, the Bentley University women’s volleyball team will again meet up with AIC Tuesday night in the quarters of the 2016 NE-10 championship tournament.

Roosevelt HS) both had 10 kills and nine digs, and Van Buren also posted three blocks, as Bentley University dispatched of Assumption College in three sets in Northeast-10 Conference women’s volleyball Tuesday night at Laska Gym. The scores were 25-16, 25-18 and 25-19.

Milner Doubles as Northeast-10 Player & Rookie of the Week

Following a week that saw the Falcons win three times, Bentley University freshman outside hitter Dani Milber (Plano, Texas/The Greenhill School) has been named both the Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week and the Rookie of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference. It’s the first time she’s been selected as the conference’s Player of the Week and the second time she’s received rookie accolades.
