The opening set featured ten ties before a kill by Dowling's Mikalah Hughes (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) put the visitors in front to stay at 15-15 and launched a 10-4 run.

It was Bentley's turn to pull away late in the second as kills by senior Stephanie Metzger (Georgetown, Texas/Liberty Hill HS) and Van Buren finished a 10-6 spurt.

The fourth was tied at 23-23 before Dowling wrapped up the match with a kill by Wiezik and a match-ending block.

Freshman setter Krista Campbell (Newtown, Pa./Council Rocks North HS) finished with 26 assists and eight digs for the Falcons and senior libero Jessica Segal (West Harrison, N.Y./Harrison HS) made 22 digs. Bentley also received three blocks apiece from senior Shelby Kreienberg (Pittsford, N.Y./ Pittsford Mendon HS) and sophomore McKenna Buck (Renton, Wash./Holy Names HS).
