KINGSVILLE, Texas – Junior libero Jessica Segal (West Harrison, N.Y./Harrison HS) and freshman setter Krista Campbell (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North HS) earned All-Tournament honors after helping the Bentley University women's volleyball team to wins over St. Mary's University, 3-0, and Lubbock Christian University, 3-1, Saturday during the final day of the Emerald Bay Hotel Javalina Invitational.

The two wins allowed the Falcons to leave Texas with a three-match winning streak and second-place in the five-team tournament.

In the finale Saturday night at the SPEC-Hampton Inn Court, the Falcons used impressive performances from a number of players, including Segal and Campbell, to prevail 25-23, 25-17, 21-25 and 25-20.

Segal had 35 digs, the most by a Falcon since 2009, and Campbell provided the assist on a career-high 44 of the Falcons' 57 digs. She totaled 135 assists in the tournament and averaged 10.6 per set during the three wins.

Senior outside hitter Jaci Buscher (Lakewood, Colo./Green Mountain HS) was one of three Falcons to have double figure kills against the 5-4 Chaparrals. She finished with 19 and also recorded 13 digs and three blocks for her third straight double-double.

Senior middle Ashley Latimer (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y./Croton Harmon HS) established a career-best with a dozen kills and junior Lauren Van Buren (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa HS) followed with ten. Bentley also received four aces from sophomore Celia Cristofoli (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson HS), 15 digs from sophomore Shannon Kelly (Hyde Park, N.Y./Franklin D. Roosevelt HS) and four blocks from senior Stephanie Metzger (Georgetown, Texas/Liberty Hill HS).

Earlier Saturday, Campbell had 35 assists and eight digs in a 25-21, 25-23, 24-23 victory over St. Mary's.  Van Buren put down a dozen kills, Buscher followed with ten and Latimer recorded nine.

Segal had another strong defensive effort with 17 kills, and both Buscher (12) and Kelly (10) reached double figures in that department as well.

Bentley will return home with a 4-4 record and will host Saint Anselm College Thursday night in the Northeast-10 Conference opener.
