WEST POINT, N.Y. – Bentley University senior Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS) competed in the Army West Point Twilight Meet Thursday and finished third among eight competitors in the long jump.

Mattson posted a distance of 18 feet, one and three-quarter inches. Bucknell University's Kaitlin Salisbury took first with her best jump three-and-a-half inches better than Mattson.

Mattson, currently 22nd on the NCAA Division II performance list in the triple jump, will compete in the New Englands Saturday at Southern Connecticut State.
