Mattson Adds Google Cloud Academic All-America to List of Honors

Following a standout career on the track and in the classroom, recent Bentley University graduate Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS) has earned one of college athletics’ premier honors with selection by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) to the 2019 Google Cloud NCAA Division II Academic All-America Women’s Track and Field/Cross Country second team.

Bentley Tops NE10 Academic Honor Roll for 21st Straight Semester

For the 21st consecutive semester, Bentley University had the most selections for the Northeast-10 Conference Academic Honor Roll (formerly known as the Commissioner’s Honor Roll) with 361 student-athletes recognized for having a 3.0 or better grade point average during the spring 2019 semester.

Bentley University senior Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS) tuned up for the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships by breaking her own school record with a winning time in the triple jump and placing second in the long jump Saturday during the Stonehill Skyhawk Invitational at W.B. Mason Statium.
