BOSTON, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./ Smithfield HS) earned All-New England honors Friday while competing in the long jump at the 49th annual New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Indoor Track Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Mattson cleared 17 feet, 11.5 inches to finish seventh of 23 overall and third among Division II competitors.

During the two-day meet that concluded Saturday, Mattson also was 16th of 31 in the 400 meters (59.20) and  15th of 19 in the triple jump (36'1.25").

Senior Julia Morena (Boylston/Tahanto Reg. HS) was 12th of 28 in the 5,000 with her time of 18:07.08 third best among Division II runners. Also third among D-II student-athletes was senior Katie Burke (Braintree/Braintree HS), who was 27th overall in the 3,000 (11:11.34).

Junior Marianne Bartolotta (Wantagh, N.Y./Holy Trinity HS) set a new personal best in the mile with her 5:20.28 27th overall and good for 13th on Bentley's all-time list.

In the team standings, Bentley tied for 28th overall with two points.
