BOSTON, Mass. – Three Bentley University student-athletes participated Saturday as the 2015 New England Indoor Track and Field Championships came to a close at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center.

Senior Brynnan Farrington (Shirley/Ayer HS), in her final career indoor meet, finished 20th overall and third among Division II competitors in the shot put, posting a throw of 36 feet, 10.25 inches. Last week, during the Northeast-10 Championships, she broke the school record in the event with a throw of 39'6".

Junior Connor Hichens (Sharon/Sharon HS) was 22nd overall in the triple jump, clearing 42'2", and sophomore Nik Haas (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey HS) ran the mile in 4:17.29 to placed 24th overall.

Thanks to a fifth-place finish by senior Tara Dooley (Lee/Lee HS) in Friday's 5,000 meters, the Bentley women tied for 28th overall in the championships.
