It was a busy day for Froehlich, who broke her own school record in the hammer after competing in the first four events of the heptathlon. Also competing in the heptathlon was sophomore Olyvia Leahy (New Bedford/New Bedford HS), who amassed 2,085 points. The hurdles was her highest scoring event as her time of 17.00 produced 596 points. The event will resume Saturday morning with Froehlich eighth amongst 12 competitors and Leahy ninth.

Carlson had Bentley's highest individual finish of the day as she was fourth of 15 in the javelin with her distance of 116'10" a new PR.

In the 4x800 relay, Bentley was seventh with juniors Alix Pettinella (Wingdale, N.Y./Arlington  HS) and Brittany Baudier (Shirley, N.Y./William Floyd HS) combining with sophomore Dusty Sacco (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes HS) and freshman Danielle Coskren (North Andover/North Andover HS) for a time of 9:56.84.

Senior Taren Kershaw (Revere/Revere HS) set a pair of PRs with times of 13.22 in the 100 and 27.30 in the 200. She placed 17th in the 100, was 21st in the 200 and her time in the 100 moved her to tenth on Bentley's all-time list.

Sophomore Chayna McDermott (Milton/Milton HS) also achieved a new personal best, posting a 14'11.25" in the long jump to finish 15th.
