ORLANDO, Fla. – Bentley defeated Scranton 7-0 but fell to Ohio Northern 7-0 on a split day for the Falcons on Tuesday in Florida.
The Falcons took on Scranton in a makeup from Monday, after they dropped their first match of the day to Ohio Northern.
Five different players won in both singles and doubles for Bentley in the victory over Scranton. Makena Romagnano and Remi LeSage won in No. 1 doubles, Chloe Arsenault and Zoe Chin took the No. 2 match and Rachel Holden and Anna Higgins were victorious in No. 3.
Romagnano, LeSage, Chin, Arsenault and Higgins won the No. 1-5 singles matches in that order. Freshman Taylor Morris picked up a win in No. 6, by a 6-1, 6-1 score.
Chin cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win in the No. 3 singles match, while LeSage doubles up Daniella Wisniewski 6-3, 6-3 in No. 2.
Arsenault dropped just three games with a 6-1, 6-2 victory in No. 4.
The Falcons will continue their spring break trip on Wednesday when they take on St. Mary's (Texas) in Satellite Beach.
