Bentley Drops 7-0 Decision to Franklin Pierce

Waltham, Mass. – Franklin Pierce remained unbeaten on the season and improved to 9-0 with a 7-0 victory over the Bentley University women's tennis team on Wednesday afternoon.

Bentley's pairings in doubles on the day were Makena Romagano and Alessa Matuty in No. 1, Remi LeSage and Zoe Chin in No. 2 and Grace Bennett and Anna Higgins in No. 3.

The singles lineup had Romagnano playing in the No. 1 match against FPU's Maria Aguilo. Matuty was in No. 2 against Himani Mor. LeSage squared off in No. 3 against Zoe Asterio Correa, while in No. 4 Chin battled Laura Alvarez Tello.

The No. 5 match pitted Bentley's Libby Keefe against FPU's Estela Carra, and No. 6 saw Bennett go up against Jillian Pagliuca.

This was Bentley's final NE10 match of the regular season. They are scheduled to play Brandeis on Friday in a non-conference match, before the NE10 playoffs begin on Sunday.
