Bentley Drops 7-0 Decision to Le Moyne

Waltham, Mass. – Le Moyne stayed unbeaten on the season and moved to the top of the Northeast-10 standings with a 7-0 victory over Bentley on Saturday afternoon.

The Dolphins won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point, then swept singles play. Scores in doubles were Tiffany Hamdan and Birdem Oz over Hannah Fabianski (Pawcatuck, Conn./Stonington) and Katie Tynan (West Barnstable, Mass./Barnstable) in No. 1, 6-3. Caroline St. Antoine and Marta Nunez over Evann Welty (Wayzata, Minn./Mound Westonka) and Courtney Flynn in No. 2, 6-1. Brianna Laureti and Camila Humala over Morgan Kreiss (Northborough, Mass./Algonquin) and Cindy Luo (Stamford, Conn./Stamford) in No. 3, 6-1.

In singles, Fabianski took Hamdan to three sets. Hamdan won the first set 6-1, but Fabianski rebounded in the second set 6-4, before Hamdan won the third, 11-9.

Bentley will look to bounce back on Monday when they host Merrimack for a 3:00 pm start.
