Bentley Tabbed 7th in NE10 Preseason Poll

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley has tabbed seventh in the NE10 Preseason Coaches Poll, the conference revealed Wednesday. The voting is conducted by the conference's 12 head coaches.

The Falcons won 15 matches last season for the second consecutive season, tying the program record for wins in a single season set in 2016-17. Head coach Rick Edelmann will welcome back five players from last season's squad, led by seniors Hannah Fabianski (Pawcatuck, Conn./Stonington) and Corrie MacLean (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull).

Stonehill topped the poll with 115 points and seven first place votes, followed the defending conference championship Adelphi, with 114 points and four first place votes.

Bentley will get its 2018-19 season underway on Saturday, September 1 with a tournament at Holy Cross, before they host Roger Williams on September 4. The team's NE10 opener is September 8 at New Haven.
