Stowe Voted to NE10 Academic All-Conference Team for Women’s Tennis

WALTHAM, Mass. – Former Bentley University student-athlete Susan Stowe (Hebron, Conn./RHAM) has been voted to the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference team for women's tennis, the conference announced Thursday. It's the second straight season she's been voted to the team.

Stowe led Bentley in singles wins during her four-year career with 35, was named All-Conference three times, and was a standout student who majored in actuarial science.

In the 2016-17 season, Stowe went 7-3 in singles matches and 6-3 in NE10 matches, to help the Falcons qualify for the NE10 playoffs. In the team's first round win over Merrimack, she won her No. 5 singles match in Bentley's 5-3 victory.

Following the season, Stowe was named third team All-Conference for No. 5 singles. That was the third time in her career she was named All-Conference, added to first team for No. 6 singles in 2015-16, and third team for No. 5 singles and All-Rookie in 2013-14.

Academically, Stowe had a 3.94 GPA this year, while she also served as a math tutor and faculty assistant.
