Bentley wins both diving events, but Southern Connecticut gets the NE10 dual victory

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut – Skyla Lang won two individual events, and Bentley claimed first in both diving events, but the women's swimming & diving lost a Northeast-10 dual, 146-133, at Southern Connecticut Friday afternoon.

Results

Lang won the 100-breaststroke by touching the wall in 1:10.06, while Emily Blatt came in second with a time of 1:10.56. Lang also won the 200-IM by timing in at 2:13.00, and Grace Motisi was second in that event (2:17.81).

Rishika Moorthy won the 1-meter dive with a score of 268.00, Hilla Almog won the 3-meter dive by scoring 250.50.

Emma Hapkiewicz won 500-freestyle by timing in at 5:16.89, and she was second in the 1,000-freestyle with a time of 10:44.66.

Caroline Ubert took first place in the 100-butterfly (1:00.72), and Jordan Nuzback took second (1:01.50).

Isabella Montanari placed second in the 50-freestyle with a time of 25.03, and Nuzback was second in the 100-freestyle (55.60).

Bentley's 400-freestyle relay team placed first with a time of 3:47.54. The winning team consisted of Hapkiewicz, Brydie Olofson, Motisi and, Montanari.

The Falcons remain on the road for a NE10 dual at Pace Saturday, Jan. 13.
