Kaduboski & Zoda Among Bentley’s Northeast-10 Honorees

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and Mark Zoda (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) were recently named the Swimmers of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference for the week ending January 13. Zoda was also recognized as the NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week.

For the same week, Bentley also had the honorees for Men's and Women's Diver of the Week with freshman Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) and sophomore Ryann Driscoll (Marblehead/Marblehead HS) collecting those honors.

In a pair of dual victories to launch the 2019 portion of the schedule, Kaduboski entered the pool seven times and gained a victory each time. At St. Michael's January 10, the senior swam to first in the 200 yard freestyle (2:01.88), the 200 backstroke (2:14.67) and the 400 individual medley (4:42.53). In addition, she helped the Falcons to a win in the 200 medley relay (1:56.71).

Kaduboski was 3-for-3 at Keene State two days later with triumphs in the 200 back (2:11.83), the 100 back (1:01.89) and the 200 IM (1:54.75). In the NE10, she had the week's fastest 200 back and 400 IM times, the second fastest 100 back time and the fifth best time in the 200 free.

Zoda, a freshman, had an outstanding week in dual victories against St. Michael's and Keene State. He placed first in the 100 freestyle in both meets (49.28 KS, 49.16 SM) and helped the Falcons finish first in the 200 medley in both as well (1:40.16 KS, 1:39.85 SM).

Against Keene, Zoda also won the 50 free (22.32) and was part of Bentley's winning 200 free relay team (1:29.40). At. St. Michael's, he was first in the 50 breaststroke (28.27) and second in the 50 free. His times in the 50 and 100 free both were among the top three in the conference during the week.

During the Falcons' victory at Keene State, Driscoll swept the diving with scores of 182.00 from the one-meter board and 177.37 from the three-meter. She did not compete in the St. Michael's meet.

In the two one-meter diving competitions at St. Michael's, Glick was first in the optional (2:01.65) and second in the required (1:43.10). At Keene, he finished second from both the one-meter board (2:05.95) and the three-meter (175.20).
