WALTHAM, Mass. – Eight Bentley University student-athletes, including three members of the Class of 2018, were recently chosen for Academic All-Northeast-10 honors in swimming and diving. No other conference institution had more than four swimmers and divers earn Academic All-Conference honors in swimming.

Five of Bentley's eight came on the men's side with the Falcons accounting for half of the ten who were honored. They were recent graduates Chris Vukas (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS) and Juan Quiroga (Bogota, Colombia), rising seniors Frank Elenio (Ridgefield, N.J./Bergen County Academies) and Ryan McGeary (Paramus, N.J./Bergen Catholic HS), and rising junior Matt Bandy (Manhattan, Kans./Manhatten HS).

Bentley was represented on the Academic All-Northeast-10 women's swimming and diving team by recent graduate Anne Warren (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron HS) and a pair of rising seniors, Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and Brooke Jameson (Bedford/Bedford HS).

Warren received Academic All-Conference accolades for the third straight year while both Elenio and Kaduboski were repeat honorees.

Warren, who graduated Summa Cum Laude with majors in mathematics and business studies, captured the NE10 200 yard butterfly championship for the third time in four years and also placed third at the conference championships in the 100 fly.

Quiroga, a Magna Cum Laude graduate, finished fourth in both diving events at the Northeast-10's. He majored in corporate finance and accounting, as well as liberal studies, and was the 2018 recipient of the W. Michael Hoffman Paper Prize in Business Ethics.

Vukas, an accountancy major, finished seventh in the 50 free, 100 back and 100 free at the conference championships and also helped the Falcons to a silver medal in the 200 free relay in a school record 1:23.64.

Kaduboski, before representing Bentley in the 200 and 400 individual medley at the NCAA Division II Championships, was a two-time gold medalist at the NE10 Championships. She swam to victory in the 400 IM in a school-record 4:26.67 and helped the Falcons capture the 800 free relay for the third straight year. She is majoring in corporate finance and accounting.

Elenio, an accountancy major, was the NE10's silver medalist in the 200 IM, 400 IM and the 200 fly, setting school records in each event in the process. Bentley's leading scorer in the championship, he also helped the Falcons take second in the 200 free relay.

An economics-finance major, McGeary broke four school records (200 free, three relays) during the championships with his highest finish a second in the 200 free. He was also a bronze medalist in the 500 free and a member of Bentley's 200 free relay that finished second.

Jameson, a marketing major, helped Bentley claim Northeast-10 gold in the 800 free relay and posted an NCAA "B" cut while finishing third in the 500 free. Her name is attached to the school records in both the 400 and 800 free relays.

An accountancy major, Bandy's best showing at the NE10's was a second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke.
