Kaduboski Leads Bentley to 177-111 Win at Le Moyne

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Bentley University junior Kate Kaduboski (Dedham, Mass./Dedham HS) won three individual events and swam the opening leg on her team's winning 200 yard medley relay team, leading the Falcons to a 177-111 win over Le Moyne College in Northeast-10 Conference women's swimming Saturday afternoon at the Rev. Vincent B. Ryan Pool.

Kaduboski opened the meet by helping Bentley capture the 200 medley in 1:54.41. Following her into the pool were senior Emily Niemiec (Meriden, Conn./Francis T. Maloney HS), sophomore Paige MacNeil (Branford, Conn./Branford HS) and sophomore Lea Guldemond (West Newbury, Mass./Central Catholic HS).

Kaduboski also put up winning performances in the 200 freestyle (2:10.17), the 200 backstroke (2:10.96) and the 200 individual medley (2:12.05). Her time in the 200 IM was the second best posted in the NE10 so far this year and bested Niemiec, whose 2:14.43 was good for fourth on the conference's performance list during the early season.

Bentley's other individual winners were Niemiec in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.58), MacNeil in the 100 back (1:01.82), freshman Julia Ball (Phoenix, Md./Roland Park County School) in the 1000 free (11:11.55), senior Anne Warren (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron HS) in the 200 butterfly (2:13.03), junior Melissa Viator (Lubbock, Texas/Lubbock HS) in the 500 free and sophomore Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./ Wethersfield HS) in the one-meter diving (234.10).

Bentley, 1-1, will open its home schedule next Sunday afternoon against Saint Rose.
