Former Bentley University swimmer Amanda Le (Chelmsford/Chelmsford HS) was named an honorable mention Scholar All-America by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). It’s the third straight year that she has earned the distinction.

Bentley University graduate student Amanda Le (Chelmsford/Chelmsford HS), a member of the Falcons’ women’s swimming and diving team, has been selected for the 2014 Capital One NCAA Division II Academic All-District 1 women’s at-large team by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Three members of the Bentley University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were named to the 2014 Academic All-Northeast-10 team. Seniors Amanda Le (Chelmsford/Chelmsford HS) and Peter Belanger (Andover/Andover HS) were each recognized for the second straight year and sophomore Colton Bridge (Tolland, Conn./Tolland HS) earned the honor for the first time.

Bentley University sophomore All-America Nicola Mancini (Falmouth, Maine/Falmouth HS) was recently named the Women’s Diver of the Year in the Northeast-10 Conference and her coach, Rick Danehy, was recognized as the conference’s Women’s Diving Coach of the Year. Both received the honor for the second straight year.

WALTHAM, Mass. – Eight members of the Bentley University swimming and diving teams received weekly recognition from the Northeast-10 Conference this week for their performances in a dual meet sweep of Babson College. Sophomore All-America Nicola Mancini (Falmouth, Maine/Falmouth HS) was the choice as NE-10 Women's Diving Athlete of the Week for the sixth straight week and eighth time this season, while the NE-10 Men's Diving Athlete of the Week was Bentley sophomore Colton Bridge (Tolland, Conn./ Tolland HS) for the third consecutive week and fourth time this season.
