MANCHESTER, N.H. – Goalkeeper Claire Ewen made a career-high 13 saves but Bentley fell at Southern New Hampshire 1-0 in the final match of the regular season.
The two teams will meet again on Sunday in the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Championship with Bentley as the No. 6 seed and SNHU the No. 3 seed. The match is set for a 4:00 PM kickoff in Manchester.
A goal by the Penmen's Georgia Greene in the 43rd minute was the difference. The goal was Greene's 4th of the season.
Bridget Gleason led Bentley with four shots on goal.
Ewen made six saves in the first half and seven in the second half. She ended the regular season with an NE10 best .875 save percentage.
