Bentley and Saint Anselm Tie 0-0, Falcons to Host SNHU in NE10 Quarters

Manchester, N.H. – Bentley and Saint Anselm played to a 0-0 draw in the regular season finale on Tuesday, but the result moved the Falcons up to 4th in the final NE10 standings and they will host Southern New Hampshire in the quarterfinals on Sunday at 1:00 pm.

Bentley finished the regular season with a 7-5-1 NE10 record for 22 points, and a 9-6-2 mark overall. They went 6-0-1 in the final seven matches with six shutouts.

Against the Hawks on this day, Falcons goalie Kat Hassapis (North Reading, Mass./North Reading) made eight saves, four in the second half and one each in overtime.

Junior forward Emma Guccione (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) led the offense with two shots on goal.

In the regular season matchup Bentley and SNHU, the Falcons won 2-0 when the Penmen were ranked, behind goals by Guccione and Haley Bernhardt (Swampscott, Mass./Swampscott).
