Waltham, Mass. – Senior Nina Predanic and freshman Olivia Boucher each scored twice to lead No. 12 Saint Rose to a 4-1 victory over Bentley University on Saturday.
Boucher and Predanic each had one assist on the afternoon. Bentley's Dana Goulet (Wilmington, Mass./Wilmington) struck one back in the 68th minute, her second of the season, with a header off a corner kick from Emma Guccione
Boucher got the Golden Knights on the board in the 8th minute with a close range finish, after a shot by Sanna Rein hit the post. Predanic scored Saint Rose's second of the day in the 19th minute with a shot into the top corner from 18 yards out.
Predanic scored just over a minute into the second half, before Goulet pulled one back for the Falcons.
Saint Rose goalie Marika Laurendeau made five saves, while her counterpart Bentley's Kat Hassapis (North Reading, Mass./North Reading) made three stops.
The Golden Knights stay unbeaten on the season and improve to 6-0-1 (3-0-1 NE10), while Bentley dropped to 2-4-1 (1-3-0 NE10).
The Falcons will look to bounce back on Wednesday, when they host Assumption for a 3:30 pm tilt.
