Bentley, Molloy Play to 0-0 Draw

Rockville Centre, N.Y. – Bentley and Molloy played to a 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon in a non-conference women's soccer match at the Kickoff Classic.

The Falcons created more scoring chances on the day with 12 shots to Molloy's seven. Nine of those shots by Bentley forced a save out of Lions keeper Jackie Carty. Falcons keeper Kat Hassapis (North Reading, Mass./North Reading) made four saves.

Sophomores Emily McGrath (Brewster, Mass./Nauset), Amanda Andriano (Nesconset, N.Y./St. Anthony's) and Dana Goulet (Wilmington, Mass./Wilmington) each led Bentley with two shots on goal.

The Falcons end the weekend with a 1-0-1 record, after they defeated Dominican (NY) 2-0 in Friday's opener.

Bentley will now prepare for its home opener, which is Saturday against Westminster (Utah) at 9:30 am.
