Tantum Voted to CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 Team for Women’s Soccer

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior forward Ana Tantum (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull HS) has been voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 Team for women's soccer, it was announced on Thursday.

Tantum has had a tremendous senior campaign in helping the Bentley women's soccer team to the precipice of the Northeast-10 playoffs with one game to go in the regular season. She leads the team in both goals (10) and points (24) while having started all 16 matches the team has played.

A 2nd team All-Conference selection for the 2015 season, Tantum is among the NE-10 leaders this season. She ranks 5th in goals and T-5th in points. In the history of the women's soccer program, Tantum's 28 career goals are tied for 2nd most all-time, and her 67 points are 4th most.

Tantum is one of just 12 student-athletes voted to the All-District 1 Team for women's soccer, and one of four forwards. District 1 is comprised of schools in the Northeast-10, Central Atlantic Collegiate and East Coast conferences.

In the classroom, Tantum is a double major in both economics and marketing, with a minor in computer information systems. She is the women's soccer program's first CoSIDA Academic All-Region or District selection since 1995.
