EASTON, Mass. – Forward Ana Tantum (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) scored her 6^th goal of the year and goalkeeper Deirdre Macrorie (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) made six saves to lead the Bentley women's soccer team to a 1-0 win at Stonehill Tuesday afternoon.

After a scoreless first 45 minutes where Macrorie made three saves, Tantum put Bentley in front in the 64^th minute. She took a cross from the right side of the penalty area from freshman Carly Kohler (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) and fired home to give the Falcons the lead.

Macrorie made two of her three second half saves to preserve the lead. One coming in the 66^th minute following a shot by Stonehill's Brianna Duserick, and another in 78^th minute on a shot by forward Meagan Elliot.

The shutout is Macrorie's 4^th of the season and the 6^th of her career.

Bentley had three other shots on goal that forced saves of Stonehill keeper Jamie Block. Two by Tantum, coming in the 48^th and 90^th minutes, and one each by midfielder Anna Siefring (Hopedale, Mass./Hopedale) in the 44^th minute and forward Alyssa Valente (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) in the 62^nd minute.

The win improves Bentley's record to 1-5-1 in the Northeast-10 and 3-5-2 overall. They'll return to the pitch on Saturday night when they visit Franklin Pierce.
