Mundorf's Goal the Difference as Pace Slips Past Bentley 1-0

WALTHAM, Mass. – Senior Amanda Mundorf's 47th minute goal was the difference as Pace came away with a 1-0 road win over Bentley University in Northeast-10 women's soccer on Saturday.

After both teams struggled to create scoring chances in the first half, Pace seized its first opportunity just over a minute after halftime. Freshman Delaney Williams fed Mundorf a pass into the center of the box, setting up Mundorf to fire a low shot that was slotted into the lower left corner of the net.

Bentley's best chance came late on as Pace goalie Leslie Robertson came out to chase a loose ball, giving Bentley a shot on an open net from the corner of the penalty box, only for it to go wide in the 85th minute.

Robertson did make five saves for Pace to earn the win, as the Setters improve to 2-7-1 overall and 2-4-1 in NE-10 play. The Falcons drop to 2-6-1 overall and 1-5-1 in NE-10 matches.

Bentley is back at home for its next match, which is Tuesday afternoon against Southern New Hampshire. Kickoff is set for 3:30 pm.
