Bentley Falls to Merrimack 1-0 Despite 10 Saves by Hynds

WALTHAM, Mass. – Merrimack squeaked out a 1-0 win over Bentley University Wednesday night despite 10 saves by sophomore keeper Christiana Hynds (West Roxbury, Mass./Boston Latin) in a Northeast-10 women's soccer match.

The only goal of night came from junior forward Sami Brady in the 53rd minute. Bentley put nine shots on net, five in the first half and four in the second, but Merrimack goalie Nicole Curtis kept them all out.

Merrimack improves to 10-6-1 overall and 8-5-1 in the NE-10, while the Falcons drop to 5-8-3 and 3-8-3 in the NE-10.

Bentley will close out the regular season Saturday afternoon at Saint Rose for a 2:00 pm kickoff.
