WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore Eliza Bresler (Newton, Mass./Newton) has earned Northeast-10 Goalie of the Week honors for the week ending April 8, it was announced by the conference today.

Bresler helped the 20^th ranked Falcons to pair of road wins over NE10 rivals Saint Michael's and Southern Connecticut last week. She was part of two stellar defensive efforts that the Falcons limit their opponents to just six goals in each game.

In the 15-6 win over the Purple Knights on April 3^rd, Bresler made 10 saves and also scooped up five ground balls. Four days later in the 13-6 win over the Owls, she made a career-high 19 saves, against 25 shots faced for a 76.0 save percentage, and also collected eight ground balls and caused two turnovers.

In the two games combined, she totaled 29 saves, a 70.7 save percentage and a 6.00 goals against average.

Coming in Wednesday's game, Bresler's 54.2 save percentage is tops in the NE10.
