Lindgren Claims Northeast-10 Player of the Week Award

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley senior attacker Hannah Lindgren (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin) has claimed Northeast-10 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week honors for her performance in two games last week.

Lindgren had a huge offensive week with 10 goals and four assists in the Falcons' two games last week. It's the first time in her career she's been named Player of the Week, and she's the first Bentley player to earn an NE10 weekly award this season.

In Bentley's 15-12 win over Saint Michael's on April 26, Lindgren had a career high eight points, which came on five goals and three assists. She followed that up with another five goals in Saturday's 18-11 defeat to No. 10 ranked New Haven.

After a five goal performance in the 11-8 win over Merrimack on April 22nd, Lindgren finished the season with five goals scored in three straight games. She finished the regular season leading Bentley in goals (40) and points (47) and tied for the team lead in assists (7).

Bentley finished the regular season with a 7-6 record in NE10 games and is the No. 7 seed in the NE10 Championship. They will play the No. 2 seed Adelphi in the quarterfinals on Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
