GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – No. 1 ranked and unbeaten Adelphi improved to 8-0 overall with a 15-2 win over visiting Bentley on Wednesday afternoon in Northeast-10 women's lacrosse action.

Bentley, which falls to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the NE-10, received goals from Erin O'Connor (Longmeadow, Mass./Longmeadow) and Hannah Lindgren (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin).

The Panthers scored the game's first three goals and led 3-0 after seven-plus minutes, before O'Connor found the back of the net for Bentley, her ninth goal of the season, at the 20:37 mark. Lindgren had the assist on the goal.

A goal for Adelphi midfielder Danielle Jaycox 42 seconds later gave Adelphi a 4-1 lead, before Lindgren scored for the Falcons on a free-position shot. The goal was her 10^th of the year.

Senior midfielder Alexa Froccaro led the Adelphi offense with five goals and two assists.

Bentley will return to the field on Saturday when they host Le Moyne a 12:00 pm.
