WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley freshman midfielder Ellie Shuman (Nashua, N.H./Nashua North) was named Rookie of the Week by the Northeast-10 Conference on Monday.

Shuman had a season-high five goals as she helped the Falcons defeat Franklin Pierce on Saturday. Four of the goals came in a span of just seven minutes in the first half. She now has nine goals in the last three games after scoring four against Assumption April 12.

Shuman's 16 goals on the season is third on the team and her 18 points is fourth.

Bentley will look for its fourth straight win on Tuesday night when they visit Merrimack for a 7:00 pm start.
