Lux Awarded Northeast-10 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – Following a rare 20-20 game, Bentley University junior center Victoria Lux (Arundel, Maine/Thornton Academy) has been named the Women's Basketball Player of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference.

In an 84-73 win over Stonehill in the Falcons' only game of the week, Lux erupted for 24 points and 21 rebounds, both career-bests. She was 10-of-15 overall and also had two blocks and an assist.

Three games into the season for the undefeated Falcons, Lux is averaging 11.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and two assists while shooting .538 from the floor.

Last season, Lux averaged 6.5 points and 6.9 rebounds while helping Bentley capture NE10 Northeast Division regular season title and reach the first round of the NCAA Division II East Regional.

Grad student and Brown transfer Becca Musgrove (Plainview, N.Y./St. Anthony's HS) was also recognized by the conference with selection to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll.  She had a Bentley career-best 19 points and five assists in her Dana Center debut. The 5-foot-9 guard connected on half of her 16 field goal attempts, 1-of-3 three-pointers and both her free throws.

Bentley has three games this week, beginning Tuesday night at Assumption.
