For the 17th straight semester, Bentley University had the most selections for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll with 376 Falcon student-athletes recognized for having a 3.0 or better during the spring 2017 semester.

Two former Bentley University All-Americans, women’s basketball standout Danielle Chaisson (Norwood) and field hockey’s Mary Rogers (Watertown), have been inducted into the Northeast-10 Conference Hall of Fame. They both will be honored during on-campus ceremonies during the 2017-18 academic year.

All-America women’s basketball player Jen Gemma (Milton/Fontbonne Academy) and football linebacker Bryan Hardy (Barnstable/Barnstable HS), a first-team CoSIDA Academic All-America®, have been named the Outstanding Senior Athletes at Bentley University. In addition, hockey standout Max French (West Kelowna, B.C./West Kelowna Warriors) was selected for the Edward J. Powers Scholar Athlete Award as Bentley’s premier senior scholar-athlete.

Legendary Bentley University women’s basketball coach Barbara Stevens has been named the 2016-17 Division II East Region Coach of the Year by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association, the 11th time in her 31 seasons on the Bentley bench she’s earned the recognition.

Cold-shooting Bentley University was denied in its bid for a 20th Northeast-10 Conference women’s basketball championship Sunday afternoon as Adelphi University took the lead midway through the second quarter and went on to record a 67-59 win in the NE10 title game at the Center for Recreation and Sport.

Senior All-America forward Jen Gemma (Milton/Fontbonne Academy) became the all-time leading scorer in Bentley University women’s basketball history, junior guard Lauren Green (Damascus, Md./Damascus HS) joined the 1,000-point club and the 12th-ranked Bentley Falcons earned a trip to Sunday’s Northeast-10 Conference championship game with an 81-49 semifinal win over Saint Anselm College Thursday night at the Dana Center.
