Career Highlights

2012-13 team captain and two-time All-Northeast-10 selection who’ll return for her final year of eligibility as a graduate student in 2013-14 … after a knee injury kept her on the sidelines during her freshman year, has helped Bentley to a sparkling 89-11 record over the last three seasons … one of four players in program history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 100 three-pointers (Kelly Barker, Becky Davison, Kristy McLean) … on Bentley’s all-time lists, ranks 11th in three-point accuracy (.360) and free throw percentage (.768), 12th in three-pointers (131) and 14th in minutes per game (28.0) … will begin senior year with 1,051 points …  scoring and rebound averages have improved each year of her career … career averages of 11.3 points and 5.9 rebounds in 93 games.

2012-13 Season

A first-team All-Northeast-10 honoree who was selected as the team’s MVP following the season … led team in rebounds (7.1 a game) and was second in scoring (13.8) after leading the team in that category for most of the year … also second in three-pointers (47) and assists (74) … chosen second-team Daktronics Division II All-East Region and received honorable mention All-America recognition from the WBCA and Women’s Division II Bulletin … led the NE-10 in minutes (1,023) and was also fourth in defensive rebounds (161), fifth in points (443), seventh in field goals (154), ninth in rebounds (226), tenth in free throws (88) and free throw percentage (.759) and 11th in scoring … joined Bentley’s 1,000-point club March 3 with a free throw against Adelphi in the NE-10 playoff quarterfinals … tied the Bentley single game records by making 16 free throws and attempting 19 at Saint Rose Jan. 19 … scored in doubles 23 times, including a string of 13 consecutive games Jan. 5-Feb. 16, and had a half-dozen 20-point games … tallied 23 vs. Southern New Hampshire Feb. 16, 22 at Saint Rose Jan. 19, 21 three times and 20 once … recorded four double-doubles, including 21 points and ten rebounds Feb. 26 vs. UMass-Lowell and 20 and 10 Jan. 23 at Adelphi … seven assists at Southern Connecticut State Feb. 2 … made multiple three-pointers 16 times, including a 5-for-7 effort in the Southern Connecticut game … Northeast-10 Player of the Week Mar. 4 … eight appearances on the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll. 

2011-12 Season

Was selected as 2nd-team All-Northeast-10 and presented with the team’s Coaches’ Award after averaging 11.7 points and 6.3 rebounds … led team in three-pointers (51) and offensive rebounds (91), and was second in both scoring and rebounds … only player who started all 35 games … scored 15 or more in five of the team’s final seven games … erupted for 21 points, on a school record-tying seven three-pointers, in the season opener against Holy Family Nov. 12 … first career double-double Dec. 7 at Franklin Pierce with 12 points and 10 rebounds … also had double-doubles Jan. 11 at American International (15 points, 11 rebounds), Jan. 17 vs. Adelphi (14 points, 15 rebounds), Jan. 28 vs. Southern Connecticut (15 points, 14 rebounds) and Feb. 14 vs. Franklin Pierce (12 points, 11 rebounds) … 20 points vs. New Haven Jan. 21 … averaged 17 points, 6.5 rebounds and four steals in the final two rounds of NE-10 playoffs to earn a spot on the All-Tournament team … 10+ points 22 times and 5+ rebounds 28 times … named NE-10 Player of the Week Jan. 22 and was included on the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll Feb. 13 … All-Tournament Team selection at Bridgeport in late December. 

2010-11 Season

In her first collegiate season, averaged 7.7 points and 3.9 rebounds while playing 20.9 minutes a game … appeared in 26 games with 19 starts, including the final eight games … finished season playing her best basketball of the season … scored in doubles in seven of the last ten games, a stretch in which she raised her scoring average from 5.4 to 7.7 … during those ten games, she gave the Falcons averages of 11.8 points and 5.4 rebounds … over half of her points and rebounds came after Feb. 16 when that hot stretch began … Bentley’s number two scorer in the NCAA Regional, averaging 12.3 points and 4.7 rebounds … that followed 11 points and 8.3 rebounds in the Northeast-10 playoffs … team-best 15 points against Clayton State in Elite Eight loss … sidelined from Jan. 8-29 with mono … averaged 5.5 points and 3.0 rebounds before getting sick and put up 9.5 ppg and 4.6 rpg after returning … ten 10-point games with a high of 17 twice, against Saint Rose in the NE-10 semis and against Assumption in the NCAA Regional semis … sixth in NE-10 in three-point accuracy (.407). 

2009-10 Season: Missed entire season following a preseason knee injury.

Before Bentley: 2009 graduate of Winthrop High School, where she was a captain and a Northeastern Conference all-star in three sports (basketball, soccer, softball) … scored 1,747 points during her high school career, most in the school’s history, and averaged 21 points as a senior … earned All-Scholastic honors from the Boston Herald three times and the Boston Globe twice … was a four-time league all-star in basketball … was the softball MVP of the Northeastern Conference South Division after hitting an amazing .642 with six homers and 36 RBI … also earned All-Scholastic honors from the Boston Globe and Boston Herald in softball … played in the Agganis Girls Basketball All-Star Game in July 2009 … also played with the Bay State Magic Elite.

Personal: Graduated in May 2013 with a major in management and a minor in sports business management … age as of Nov. 15, 2012: 21 … daughter of Peter and Marie Finn … has a sister, Kristen (23), and a twin brother, Paul (21) … Kristen played softball at Bates, and Paul is a baseball player at WPI … has been one of the team’s SAAC representatives.
