Bentley Tops NE10 Academic Honor Roll for 21st Straight Semester

For the 21st consecutive semester, Bentley University had the most selections for the Northeast-10 Conference Academic Honor Roll (formerly known as the Commissioner’s Honor Roll) with 361 student-athletes recognized for having a 3.0 or better grade point average during the spring 2019 semester.

Bentley University softball catcher Ella Hillier (Tualitin, Ore./Tualitin HS) has been named to the All-Northeast-10 Conference third team following her outstanding season this spring for the Falcons. Hillier was also selected for the conference’s All-Rookie Team.

Sophomore shortstop Lindsey Allen (Worcester, Mass./Worcester Technical HS) had four hits, freshman catcher Ella Hillier (Tualitin, Ore./Tualitin HS) drove in four runs and freshman right-hander Elise Pereira (Plainville, Mass./King Philip Reg. HS) pitched a one-hit shutout as Bentley University blanked St. Michael’s College, 9-0, in Northeast-10 Northeast Division softball Tuesday evening at Franklin Pierce University. Due to the run rule, the game was stopped after five innings.

Freshman catcher Ella Hillier (Tualitin, Ore./Tualitin HS) and junior second baseman Julie Slavin (Rocky Hill, Conn./Rocky Hill HS) were a combined 7-for-7 with six RBI as Bentley University completed a three-game sweep of Franklin Pierce University with a 13-3 win at the Bisaccia Softball Complex Sunday afternoon. Due to the run rule, the game lasted only five innings.

Game two was halted after five innings due to the run rule.
